A typical home or office has hundreds of airborne volatile organic chemicals (VOCs). These levels may be much higher during or after new construction or remodeling. New flooring may react with damp concrete and generate irritating VOCs. Certain damp materials may give off formaldehyde emissions. MTS can perform a variety of tests for airborne chemicals. These tests can be often very expensive and inconclusive. Tests must usually include testing both the problem room and a control (non-problem) room.
